We had a fantastic week at La Trilogie D’or with 3 generations staying across both gites. The gites are beautifully decorated, spacious, well appointed, and the large covered seating area was great to get the whole family together for meals. The pool area is fantastic – huge pool with large shallow area which was great for the little ones. The kids loved the inflatables and outdoor games too! The location is such an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne with loads of attractions less than 20 minute drive away. Hosts Natasha and Tony could not have been more responsive and helpful before and during our stay, giving useful recommendations and helping to book restaurants, whilst giving us the freedom to enjoy the place as if it was ours. Thank you so much! We loved it and would love to return one day!

Very quiet and delightful location. Comfortable accommodation. Kids loved the pool. Nataliya was very helpful before we arrived and during our stay. Tony was always available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 8 of us of varying ages. Local first class restaurants with a variety of different locations and styles. Also the area has a lot to offer with the highlight kayaking and go karting, and many historical villages and buildings to visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at La Trilogie D’or with extended family! Natasha and Tony were wonderful welcoming hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had plenty of local restaurant and activity recommendations and additional garden toys for the kids kept appearing like it was Christmas! The property is stunning and we particularly loved spending time on the terrace eating together and the hours spent by the pool. It’s a truly perfect spot!

We had the most amazing time at La Trilogie d’or. Tony and Natasha were the most accommodating hosts from booking bike hire and restaurants to giving recommendations for local attractions which were all excellent. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped and spotless. The pool was every bit as good as it looked and the grounds were immaculate. The area has so much to offer and we can’t wait to return. Tony and Natasha couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and made our first time in France very special.

This is a gorgeous property set in a lovely quiet setting in the hills above Castelnaud-La-Chapelle. The gîte is to a very high standard, well appointed with everything you need and was spotless! This part of the Dordogne is just stunning and it was a perfect base to explore and to relax and enjoy the beauty of the region. What made this so special were the owners who live on site and went out of their way to help us have the best holiday ever with all their recommendations for places to visit, and help booking restaurants etc. They were lovely and really made us feel as if this was our home in this beautiful part of France.

Natasha and Tony are gracious hosts at one the loveliest and peaceful lodgings of my two week 1000+km driving tour of South Western France. La Trilogie D'Or is nestled in verdant hills overlooking the most beautiful natural and historical settings in all of France. Though it is located in a hamlet enclave that feels worlds away, it is so conveniently located to access many chateaux, stunning river drives with views of the "falaises" – the ancient cliffs, and numerous restaurants found in charming villages that won't disappoint! All within a 10 to 20 minute drive. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again!

What a delight! The two bedroom cottage was very spacious and comfortable – actually seemed bigger than the photos depict. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and supportive and had a genuine interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible, from recommendations and help with reservations at wonderful local restaurants, to suggestions for local sites to visit, to making sure we were comfortable when we experienced some inclement weather. We would love to return and highly recommend this unique property to anyone planning to spend time touring the gorgeous Dordogne area.
