Bergerac and Brive airports are both only an hour away from us. Toulouse and Limoges airports can be reached in 2 hours 15 minutes. Bordeaux airport is just over two and a half hours’ drive.
Directions
From Bergerac, head towards Lalinde on the D660. Then take the D29 and the D25 towards Siorac-en-Perigord. Follow the D50 to Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. Follow signs towards Château de Castelnaud. The château will be on your right as you head up the hill for about 1 km. Continue until you see the sign “Generille” and “Route de Fifi”. Drive through the hamlet. You will see our driveway on the right with our sign by the gates — La Trilogie D’or.
From Brive take the A20 towards Souillac, then the D703 towards Carsac-Aillac, Vitrac, La Roque-Gageac until you reach Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. Then follow the signs towards Château de Castelnaud. Turn right and head up the hill for about 1 km. You will see the sign “Generille” & “Route de Fifi.” Turn left there. Drive through the hamlet until you see our gates on the right with our sign ‘La Trilogie D’or’.
Our Story
Our story began with a spark—between us, and later, with the Dordogne. What started as a visit became a deep, lasting love for this enchanting corner of southwest France.
We first arrived in the Dordogne Valley in the summer of 2020. We were instantly captivated by its rolling hills and storybook villages. Its exquisite cuisine and the unhurried rhythm of daily life intrigued us. After three years and many return visits, we found the one. It is a beautifully restored stone home with panoramic views over the valley. A tranquil saltwater pool is at its heart.
Our paths to the Dordogne were shaped by different worlds that complement each other beautifully. Natasha built a career in high-end London property sales. Tony is a global entrepreneur with deep roots in business and construction. Together, we’ve explored the world. We’ve seen the bright lights of Las Vegas and the turquoise waters of Bora Bora. We’ve experienced the spiritual calm of Bali. But it was here, in the timeless beauty of the Dordogne, that we felt a true sense of arrival. A feeling of home.
